  2. The Woman in the Shaman’s Body appeals to me as an antidote for having women’s experiences interpreted by men. So many of the books on shamanic traditions are written by men from the viewpoint of death and dismemberment. The Hero’s Journey of Campbell.

    I am fascinated with viewing women’s journies and experiences through birth and midwifery in addition to the descent to the underworld.
